According to the company's official Facebook page, YouTube channel, and India website, PUBG Mobile India can relaunch soon in the country as Battlegrounds Mobile India. Fans have been waiting for a relaunch since the battle royal game was banned in India in September of last year, and publisher Krafton has been trying to get it back. Now, some updates have been noticed on the company's social media site, so there might be some movement on that front. There was also an alleged promotional trailer for the Indian version of PUBG Mobile that was removed shortly after it was posted..
In September of last year, PUBG Mobile was blocked in India, along with
117 other smartphones. The game had a large fan base since its release in 2018,
and players were disappointed to learn of the ban. Since then, efforts have
been made to get the game back with certain modifications to appeal to an
Indian audience, but no definitive result has been reached. With that said,
“@BattlegroundsMobileIN” appears on PUBG Mobile India's official Facebook page,
implying that the game can relaunch as Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Furthermore, there is a Battlegrounds Mobile India account on Facebook
that appears to be the official PUBG Mobile India account for the app, but it
has not been confirmed. It also has a banner shot with the game's name –
Battlegrounds Mobile India – and the words "Coming Soon" on it. The
page also includes a link to the PUBG Mobile India website, which, like the
rest of the world, just says "Coming Soon."
